Theodora Stavropoulos

January 25, 1947 - January 20, 2022

Theodora (Teddie) Stavropoulos, 74, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away on January 20, 2022 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Teddie was born on January 25, 1947 to Eva and Andrew Sarris in Lowell, MA. Teddie was married and had two sons while living in Lowell. In 1980 she moved to Dunedin, FL with her family. Teddie worked at Nielsen Media for 30 years and retired in 2014. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She was also a member of the Daughters of Penelope philanthropic organization for over 40 years serving as an officer at the local chapter and at district levels. Teddie was predeceased by her parents Eva and Andrew. She is survived by her two sons Elias (Cindy) Stavropoulos and Andrew (Julie) Stavropoulos. She had five grandchildren that she adored; Peter, Lucas, Matthew, Danny and Gracie. She is also survived by her former spouse Peter Stavropoulos. Teddie had many close friends that were like family to her. Services will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Clearwater on Friday, January 28, 2022. Viewing will be at 10am, with funeral beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Moffitt Cancer Center or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Teddie.
