Steven Liswith

January 24, 1959 - March 24, 2022

Steven Liswith, 63 of Palm Harbor Florida passed away March 24, 2022. He was born in Yonkers, New York as the second son of Carl and Marian Liswith and graduated from Briarcliff High School in New York. After moving to Florida in 1981 to be closer to his parents, Steven attended the University of Tampa. Little did Steven know at the time, the most consequential job he would take was at K-Mart where he would meet the love of his life, Blair. They would wed in 1987. After working for others, Steven decided to chart a different course, founding, and running his own businesses in the 1980’s and 1990’s and did so with the dedication and drive that were hallmarks of his character. An added benefit of being the boss was it allowed him to utilize the experience of his loving father Carl in his business. Steven defied the odds in 2010 after suffering an aortic dissection, highlighting his fighting spirit and determination to survive. Steven’s passion for his family and friends was always on display and in the years following an early retirement, Steven was able to care for his parents and forge a strong bond with his children. Steve was an avid boater who enjoyed taking to the water. Sharing good times on the water with family and friends was a way for Steven to show how much he cared for them. A dedicated and loving husband and father, brother and friend, Steven leaves a legacy and memory of strength and kindness, generosity, and joyfulness of a truly larger than life character. Steven is survived by his loving wife Blair, adoring children Eric and Jessica, brothers Theodore and Mitchell, brother-in-law Gary, cousin Joey, nephews, nieces and cousins. Services will begin with a viewing on Saturday April 2nd at 9 am followed by graveside service at 10am.
