Katie Mae Tindell

July 21, 1929 - January 15, 2022

Katie Mae, 92, transitioned into her Eternal home on January 15, 2022. Katie was born in Quitman, GA. Her parents were the late Phillip (Phil) Arnold and the late Mary Lee Griffin. She attended public school in Brooks County, Georgia. Katie was a long-time resident in Jupiter, Florida. At an early age, Katie gave her life to Christ. Her religious faith was Methodist. She served faithfully in her church. Katie was a caregiver and she provided domestic service to many. She retired after many years of serving in the communities in Jupiter and Tequesta, Florida. Her pride and joy was her family. Katie is preceded in death by her husband Otis Tindell Sr., both her sons, Otis Tindell Jr., Alphonse Tindell, two grandchildren, Latrice M. Dennies, Jermain D. Tindell, and several great grand children, one brother, and three sisters. Katie is survived by her two daughter in laws, Mattie Mae Tindell of Palm Beach County, Alverdean Robinson Tindell of St. Petersburg, FL, one brother, Roosevelt Arnold of Fort Myers, FL, four grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, fifty great great grandchildren, two nieces, and other sorrowing relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00p.m. on January 23, 2022. The viewing will be held from 12:30p.m. to 1:00p.m. prior to the Funeral Service at Curlew Hills Chapel and Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor, FL.
