Pa (as his grandchildren called him ) had many loves and passions including; his love for the Lord, his beautiful wife, as he loved to call Pat, and their family, golf, Alabama Crimson Tide football, and Ice Cream! Stan was dedicated to his church, serving as a Deacon. He also volunteered many years alongside Pat with the Salvation Army in various capacities including Bell Ringer, their drug rehabilitation program, and board member. Stan is survived by his wife, Pat; two brothers, Seaborn Bussey Jr., and Jerry Bussey, with their families; his daughters, Jennifer Williams, Deborah Balentine, and Celeste Sims; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will miss his friendly manner, easy smile, corny jokes, and ready advice. He was always happy to help when called on and we knew we could always count on his prayers. After a family graveside service, Stan will be interred at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family asks if you would consider a donation to The Salvation Army.
