    Jeffrey Frank Naret

    February 3, 1949 - December 24, 2021

    Jeffrey Frank Naret, 72, Trinity, FL, formerly of Central City, PA, passed away suddenly on December 24, 2021. Born February 3, 1949 in Johnstown, PA, son of Frank and Mary Ann (Balya) Naret of Central City, PA. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Sheilah (Ramsey) Naret, brothers Michael, Johnstown PA; Frank (Mary), Saratoga Springs NY; Richard (Kathy), Palm Harbor, FL; James (Tina), Central City, PA; sister Meri Ann Alt (Ronald), Central City PA, uncle Bill Balya, as well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins, all that he loved dearly. Jeff is preceded in death by his beloved parents; sister-in-law, Helen Naret, niece Lauren Naret and nephew Paul Naret. A 1967 graduate of Shade High School, Cairnbrook, PA, he attended Franklin and Marshall College until he was drafted into the Army in 1969 and served in Vietnam in a Military Police Unit. He continued to stay in touch with his remaining fellow Army unit members. Jeff worked in the hospitality business for more than 50 years, most recently retiring from hotel executive recruiting. He was an avid golfer and was a member of Fox Hollow Golf Club and a former member of Dunedin Golf Club. His golfing buddies referred to Jeff as a Gentleman’s Gentleman on and off the golf course. He was a huge fan of Penn State University sports and Duke Basketball. He was also an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports teams cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pirates, and the Penguins. Jeff never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his friendliness, his gift of gab, and his sincere loyalty to his friends and family. Jeff lived life to the fullest, always had a smile on his face, and lived happily with Sheilah by his side. He will be missed but never forgotten. Services will be held Friday, December 31, at Curlew Hills Memorial Gardens, Palm Harbor, FL. Visitation at 11:30 am; service at 12:30 pm. A luncheon at Fox Hollow Golf Club will follow.
