Henry R. McAvoy

Henry “Hank” McAvoy passed away peacefully on 12/01/2021 in his home in Clearwater, FL. Hank was born on 10/25/1933 in Lawrence, MA. He had a long, successful career as Marketing Director for the National Marine Fisheries Service. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Hank is survived by his loving wife of over 62 years, Marilyn McAvoy, his two sons, Henry (Maria) and Daniel McAvoy, his daughter, Theresa Tomoser, his two grandchildren, Chad and Danielle Tomoser and his sister, Marion Joncas. Hank enjoyed spending his free time with his family. He also loved reading, music and playing the piano. Hank was a talented artist who drew and painted hundreds of pictures, many of which are framed and hang on the walls of households and offices across the country. Hank will be sorely missed by his loving family. Burial services are scheduled for December 23,2021 at Bay Pines National cemetery at 12:30 pm.
