Gwendolyn Rita "Raimondo" Ricci

February 15, 1955 - April 5, 2022

Palm Harbor, FL – Gwendolyn Rita (Raimondo) Ricci, 67, of New Port Richey, died on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in Palm Harbor, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind her daughter, Liza G. Ricci of Palm Harbor, her future son-in-law, Sean Murphy, as well as countless friends and family. She was also the grandmother of a Goldendoodle, Simba Abu. Born in Providence, Rhode Island she was the daughter of John and Viola (Gaucher) Raimondo. Gwen was a Medical Assistant for 7 years, before becoming a Legal Assistant. She worked as a Legal Assistant for 28 years. Gwen spent many years volunteering at the Hearthside House Museum in Lincoln, Rhode Island, giving tours to countless families. She enjoyed Civil War reenacting and spent many weekends at reenactments wearing full attire. Gwen moved to Florida in 2007, in order to be closer to her daughter, but her heart was always with Rhode Island. No matter what, she always considered herself a Rhode Islander. Over the past years, she spent more and more time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter and future son-in-law, as well as attending concerts with her daughter. Gwen enjoyed having wine and cheese and dinner with her family, and helping her daughter plan her upcoming wedding. She will forever be missed by her family and friends. Calling hours for the viewing and service will be held Friday, April 22 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens (1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, FL 34683). The interment will be Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 am PM at the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens.
