Earl W. Kalbfleisch “Pops”, 86, passed away peacefully on July 3 2021. He was born in Filer, ID and lived a full life as Christian, Army veteran, student, husband, father, uncle, and grandfather residing in Rochester, NY before moving to Clearwater, FL well over 30 years ago. He worked many years for the Eastman Kodak Company as an Electrical Engineer. This talented and smart man loved to travel with his family and was able to accomplish his goal of visiting all 50 states! He enjoyed walking, hunting, and fishing in the great outdoors. He loved to tinker with electronics and had a couple of patents. In his younger years he was an amateur pilot, flying his family all over the US. He was predeceased by the love of his life Myrna in 2011. He is survived by his three children, son, Roderick S. Kalbfleisch and wife Patricia of Southington CT, daughters, Kathryn M. Kalbfleisch of Wheaton, IL and Kara E. Bennett of Cranston, RI, grandsons, Timothy and Robert Kalbfleisch, brother and sister in law Jeff and Jorlean Wiebe and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 He will be greatly missed.
