Douglas H Wilhelm

March 17, 1938 - April 22, 2022

Douglas Wilhelm, age 84, passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice, Clearwater, Florida on April 22, 2022. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of William C and Mary L Wilhelm. Before relocating to Florida, he lived in Grove City and Millersport, Ohio. He is survived by wife LeeAnne and six children, Gregg Wilhelm, Kelly (Bill) Barrett, Jeff (Barbara) Wilhelm, Doug (Jennifer) DeMaro, Jim (Sherrie) Wilhelm and Thomas Wilhelm: brother Thomas (Carol) Wilhelm: 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents and sister Sandi Arnold. He was employed at FinTech and worked as Vice President of Sales retiring after 20 plus years. Doug gave back to every community in which he lived. Over the years of coaching/mentoring and being a successful businessman, he made a difference in the lives of countless individuals. He played a big role in the development of good players/teammates that grew into fine adults with strong work values. In addition, he served as President of his residential community for numerous years. A gathering of family and friends will be May 6, 2022 at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Rd, Palm Harbor, Florida at 2:30pm followed by a Memorial Service at 3pm.
