Dr. Dariusz J. Majerski, born on January 1, 1965 in Poland, is no longer with us. He passed away on January 7, 2021 in Clearwater, FL at the age of 56. Graduate of pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, State University of NY at Buffalo. Recipient of State University of New York at Buffalo, Outstanding Resident Award; Top Anesthesiologist of Clearwater; Best Physician of Women’s Care in Florida. A renaissance man, with a great sense of humor, humanist, art sponsor and collector, musician, philanthropist and above all a pilot. As a pilot, climbing in altitude, piercing the clouds, granted him a perspective that constantly refreshed his zest for life, with his beloved family sitting next to him on the plane. Respected colleague, business partner, incredible friend. His whole life was dedicated to saving lives and helping others to the very end. Helping and sponsoring very sick children from all over the world to obtain the best of care in the U.S. He felt that anesthesiologist was the patient’s protector during surgery. While the procedure might improve or save the patient’s life, the surgery is, in fact, an injury or trauma of sorts. His job was to keep the patient safe – and comfortable – during the trauma. One of his greatest joys was seeing the patient’s smile after they emerged from surgery. Loved to travel, always together with his beloved wife and kids, sharing the knowledge and experience with Theo and Phillip. Our devoted and beloved Dad, Husband, Son, Brother, and Son-in-Law is no longer among us. It is impossible to express the grief we carry in our hearts. Dr. Dariusz Majerski is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara, twin sons, Phillip and Theo, Parents, Brother and his family, Father-in-law and Brother-in-law.
