Arlene J. Gardner Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Arlene Gillon Gardner, 72, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Palm Harbor, Florida on June 9, 2022. Born in Wilmington, Delaware she was the daughter of David and Margaret Gillon. She graduated from Florida Junior College and went on to study at the University of Central Florida majoring in creative writing. In her early years, she worked as a phlebotomist; then spent many years in the computer training business that she owned. She then went on to manage the real estate Brokerage office she owned with her husband. Arlene was a star athlete in high school in Pennsville, New Jersey excelling at tennis and hockey and was an avid sports fan of the Tampa Bay Rays. She will be remembered for her loving, optimistic and nurturing personality. She enjoyed any activity with her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her husband Claude Gardner, Sr., her children Claude Gardner, Jr. (Christine) and Mark Gardner (Kristin), her sister Margaret Rose Scott (Michael), her brother David Gillon (Diane) and her grandchildren Emily, Kelly, Ethan and Lauren and her beloved dog Sky. She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and David and her sister Laurel Stone. The Memorial Service will be held on June 25, 2022 with the reception at 1:00 PM and the service at 2:00 PM at Curlew Hills Memorial Gardens, 1750 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor, FL 34683
